Ryan grew up on a farm near David City, Nebraska and is the oldest of 4 children. He attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln, and graduated in 2004 with a degree in Exercise Science. He found a love for anatomy and physiology while at the University of Nebraska. Uncertain where this love would take him, he was fortunate to be guided towards physical therapy. This guidance led him to Rockhurst University in Kansas City where he graduated in 2007 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. While in graduate school, Ryan was fortunate to have mentors that sparked his interest in Postural Restoration. Postural Restoration has helped give Ryan an understanding of how faulty movement patterns lead to pain and dysfunction, and most importantly, what can be done to address those problems.
Following graduation, Ryan began working in a Postural Restoration Certified clinic where he was able to continue his study of Postural Restoration. He became certified in Postural Restoration in 2010. He continues to utilize Postural Restoration and truly enjoys helping people with their pain and movement.
When not working, Ryan enjoys spending time with family, his wonderful wife Jill, their daughter Kolbie, and their dog Spike.
